A 'forgotten' Return... Empty
BerichtOnderwerp: A 'forgotten' Return... A 'forgotten' Return... Emptyvr feb 22, 2013 1:44 am

Dit deel is een vervolg van 'The "forgotten" past.'

A 'forgotten' return.

Spoiler:

She thought she was safe. She thought she was gone from that place. It looked like one big dream. She waked up in a room. Where it was lit by some candles. On the desk there were some potions. And a letter. She already knew who it was from. She read it anyways.

“ A note just for you Micki.
You hoped you would escape… That did not work out.
Welcome in my little mansion of games!
You are my new play thing. I hope you won’t break as soon as all the others.
Don’t worry, I’m not unreasonable! There is a way out of here. You just have to find it. I’ll give you a tip, Pick up the key in the drawer…
Humor me… “

This wasn’t the person she expected… She picked the key from the drawer and there was a roar again. She looked through the room. There was a closet in the room. She ran towards it, opened the doors and hides inside of it. She had no sight of what was happening inside the closet. She only hoped it would go away. Sounds of the door being slammed. You were able to hear the tiny pieces that got smashed away. She heard footsteps getting closer and closer. It smashed the closet. Micki wanted to scream but all she was able to do was watch. Her body didn’t want to move. Didn’t want to make a sound. A top of the closet was smashed open and Micki was sitting on the ground. Strangely the monster had not seen her. It stopped hitting the closet and walked away. Like Micki was some sort of air. One door opened and Micki walked carefully outside of it again. She went to the drawer. There were many things left to inspect. Top was empty, middle was empty and the last one was empty. The whole left side of the drawer was empty and the right side was unopened. While she looked at the right side she found a lantern with 4 tinderboxes and an oil.

She walked outside the room and turned left. It was a dead end. She turned around, she saw a red wooden door. It had a metal frame around it. The door was closed. She remembered the key she had to pick up. She did it in the lock, the door was now open. She entered, the door made a squeaky sound while she opened and closed it.

The room behind her was a straight path with a door on the right. She walked past that one and went to the door at her front. It was locked with a simple lock. She tried the door on her left now. It was dark inside, it square room with 2 shelves inside of it. The light in the lantern was small but enough to see the room. First she walked right. There was a potion, one oil and another note… 'this might be usefull... you never know' she half muttered and whispered.

“another note.
If you find this note, I hereby congratulate you for outsmarting my pet…
But don’t think this is over yet… To be exact, the fun part has only just begun…”

Chill ran over her spine. She remembered who this was… ‘Wanda…’ she whispered. She walked to the left side of the room. There was another shelf and some barrels… Always barrels she thought. She didn’t like them. On the bottom shelf there was a metal bracelet. She bended towards it, but the monster came again. She heard him close by.
How could I have not noticed him?
!’ She thought to herself. She was angry and agitated at herself for not noticing it. She turned off the lantern and walked behind the barrels. There wasn’t just one roar or moaning anymore… there were multiple moaning… Behind the barrel there was a hollow needle and one tinderbox. One of the monsters entered the room. In fear she hides behind the barrels. Hoping it would not see her.

There were 15 minutes past and she was tired of waiting. She crouched closer and moved the first row of barrels closer to the monster. Perhaps I can get past him this way! Those thoughts echoed through her mind. She was too hasty with her movements. The top barrel fell, and more happened. The top barrel fell at the monster. It turned around and looked at Micki, right in to her eyes. He tried to hit her, she duck under his claw and ran outside the door post. Closed the door and ran further. There was the simple lock door again. Behind her was the sound of hitting again. This monster was a bit faster at the hitting part… The door was broken open and Micki was busy opening the lock. Right before the monster was outside of the doorpost the door opened. She ran inside of that door. Not knowing what might behind it. As fast she was thought she closed the door also behind her. She turned left, it was really dark. The lantern luckily provided some light. She kept running down the hallway. Right before the corner she tried a door on her left. It opened and there was a cabinet inside the room. As fast as possible she ran inside of it. The scent of rotting something got in to her nose. She didn’t want to know what that noise or smell was. She waiting for that monster to come, but it didn’t came.

Outside the small room she turned left as soon as possible. She did check what was in the cabinet… ‘So much blood… rotten flesh and I have to get out of here I don’t want to puke… ‘ Around the corner there was another door. It was locked, She did got an eerie feeling by that door.

Again she turned left on the corner. She saw some metal gate in front and a door at her left. She went inside that room. This door also had only a cabinet inside of it. What strange… there is that door I had a eerie feeling about!’ She fought. Inside this cabinet were some tinderboxes, oil and a note.

“A brief explanation.
Once again, congratulations for making it this far. I believe a brief explanation is in order.
As you can see, you’re in a small dungeon area. You have to go to the study, To get the key to the hallway.
The door to the study is locked with a mechanism. You’ll need to pull two levers before you can open the door. If you find the levers, you’ll be able to progress…”

Inside this room there was a black door. Almost not be able to be seen without the lantern. She refilled the lantern with some oil and proceeded. From the T split she went left. A huge shelve with many useless stuff were on it. She did took a closer look, she got a potion few more tinderboxes. She took a look on the lever. Walked towards it and turned it down. There was a sound coming from it. She went back to see the other side. She turned right and she froze, She stopped moving. There was that monster again. This time it ignored her and smashed the door right in front of him. This was probably a door that was locked. She got her movements back and took shelter behind a stone wall. She took a peek around the corner. The monster was gone, she slowly walked towards it, left was the broken open door. Right there was a dead end. ‘where did that monster come from?’ She whispered to herself.

Inside the room there were a lot of barrels. It was a square room with no exits, The monster was not here anymore… ‘Did it vanish?’ She sounded surprised. A chest was on the floor. It contained oil. Next to the chest there was a other lever. she moved a barrel to get to the lever. this barrel dropped another note.

"wow...
You made the candle float in mid air....
impresive..."

She looked at the barrel. indeed, The candle was now floating in mid-air... She freaked out a bit by it. She pulled the lever to the left. There was some grinding noise coming from behind her.

The dead end was now no longer a dead end. There was a door, and the mechanisms had opened this one. Chills ran over her spine. The sound of that monster was back again. She went to a corner and waiting quietly for her mood to return. Inside the room there was a desk. And a shelve with only bottles of alcohol… She had no interest to get drunk of kill herself with it… She switched the lantern off and lit up a candle. She saw a note on the desk. She began to read it.
“Searching for the key.
The key to the hallway is somewhere in this room. You just have to find it.
Start searching my dear!”

She looked at the drawers, nothing was there. She opened one of the bottles which had a note inside of it.

“Searching for the key.
What is it honey?
Can’t find the key? Fine, I’ll give you a hint:
Next time you’re searching the room, look up…”

She checked the bottles of the shelve, nothing was there… She took a look though the room. “Where is that blasted key?!” she got agitated by this whole ‘game’. It was hanging on the sealing by a thin line. Micki tried to grab It but she was too small to do it. She grabbed a barrel from the room and climbed on top of it. She now had the key she needed. ‘Finally’ she smiled with a big smile. Her barrel got swept over, she hitted the floor and the floor was trembling from footsteps. Not just 2 feet’s. No there were 8 or more… what could this mean? She got on her feet again, grabbed a box and started to run. 1 monster got past her a second one a third one. So many growls. Micki’s feet didn’t want to stop running. Her box got smashed to tiny bits. He kept running in panic. In a high haste she putted the key in the doorpost opened it and closed it. There was wanda. Micki’s eye sight got less and soon she saw only black. Wanda’s voice was echoing the whole room.

Hahahaaha, I must say… I’m impressed! I didn’t think you would acualy make it, Maybe there is a price for you after all… “
Micki felt like her whole body got heavy and numb. Wanda’s words were getting weaker. Sooner she lost consciousness.

Micki’s eyes were open all of the sudden. She was sitting straight in her bed. Sweat was at her forehead. Her hands were shaking and she got a huge headache. ‘w.wa…was that a dream?’ She looked through the room she was in. ‘This isn’t were I remember where I was supposed to be… ‘ tears were falling down from her cheek. This was too much for her, her own clothes were on the chair to the left of her. A small candle in the corner gave a little warm feeling from it. Behind the closed curtains it was dark. ‘ it must be night by the looks of it…’ The walls were from wood, the floor was from a different colour wood. A tiny chest was in the room. A bookcase, a desk and a closet.
How did I end up here? This room doesn’t even have a door!’ She lost all hope of getting out of this place, what did she need to do? What am i going to do?

She stepped out of bed. Reaching for her clothes. These weren’t her own cloths she saw. These were brand new, even in the plastic. She got dressed and putted on the shoes. On the desk there was a candle. She decided to bring it with her. She picked it up and looked around the room. The dresser didn’t had anything in it, The closet was filled with a whole lot fantasy books, manga books bedtime story’s… and then she checked the desk. Nothing much except for two tinderboxes and a small hammer. The chest did contain something very unsettling… ‘What… the hell. The monster as a tiny doll… A pile of humans… Why would you put this here? This was more of a child’s bedroom!’ She overthought her own words. Of course that had to be it. This was a child’s bedroom. She took a look outside the window… it was snowing… Where did she recognize this place from? It was all so familiar to her…

A idea got to her. What if she broke the window… there was enough place to stand on! She grabbed the hammer and smashed the window… standing outside there were some whispering. She wasn’t able to understand what was going on. But what she did got was that she was put in this room by walking over the edge… She took a look and there was a small edge where you were able to walk on. She tried and indeed, you were able to walk on it. If you walked slowly and had a good balance. She got to the other side of it. Glad that past was over. Now she looked down. “I’m glad I did NOT fall down! You can’t see the bottom of this house!” She mumbled not all too happy. There was another platform. This was a slightly higher than the rest and of course, This was 1 and a half meter away… Jumping just that was no problem for her. Jumping up with that space in between… was a different story.

She jumped, She was hanging on to the platform. She screamed ‘This was NOT part of the plan! ‘ back on the platform she broke the window. Walked inside. Sorry for the window… But I’m NOT going to move outside again! She fought in protest. There was a large corridor up ahead. Left and right were doors. She entered the right one. It was another bedroom… Full of drawings… not something out of the ordinary was in this room… Just a lot of drawings… Outside there was a T split again. She turned right hoping she would find there something. There was a stairs to the basement. She had no idea what she was supposed to expect there. She did went towards it. The basement looked like a living room. “I thought that was the ground level… “ The girl was confused in a lot of ways.

Inside the living room there was a hall. This hall had open rooms. No walls on front. One of these was cozy. It had a large table, bookshelves a desk with a chair and a couch! ‘sweet. This remind me of home…’ Home echoed through her head… Why had all this that feeling of home… what was going on?

Further up ahead there was a kitchen. It was a big kitchen if you were to compare it to others. The red door next to the kitchen was closed. There was a key needed for that. There was a jar too high to reach. ‘I have to get that jar down somehow… ‘ She picked up a cooking book and threw it towards the jar. It broke and Micki let out a relieved sigh. She picked up the key and tried it at that door. It opened, She walked further… the door closed behind her. A unknown woman came from behind the door. ‘don’t worry… I locked it up good..’ She gave her a false look and Micki wanted to get out of this room as soon as possible. “ Don’t even try… You won’t get out of here… Onee-chan.” That word was like a bullet to Micki. ‘w.what did you called me?’ “ Onee-chan “Said the woman with a big creepy smile. ‘s.sis?’ “whahahaha! I’m NOT your sister! You betrayed me! You made me a MONSTER.” She grabbed Micki by the neck. Micki immediately plead for her life. “I won’t kill you yet…” Micki’s tears ran down her eyes as she saw her life slipping by.

A 'forgotten' Return... Empty
BerichtOnderwerp: Re: A 'forgotten' Return... A 'forgotten' Return... Emptyvr feb 22, 2013 6:34 am

She woke up again. This time it felt like a nightmare. She tried to move but her hands were tied down to a chair. Same as her feet’s. ‘W.what?! What is going on?!’ she was never confused as now. There was a girl, sitting by candle light. She was drawing, It looked like a drawing of herself… Pinned down to a operation table… So much blood… She had to be dead in that picture. ‘you are going to be my sacrifice… I can’t let you go that easily…’She simply said. “Why are WE a sacrifice to you?! “ Micki was angry, she did not forgot about her parents. Sister never replayed at that. “You know… It’s your birthday… I gave you every year something… Now you have to give ME something…” She said deeply in thoughts. ‘Why are you so selfish?! Let me go! I won’t tell anyone!’ “Will I get my freedom back by that? She showed Micki the drawing. ‘it’s nice isn’t it? It’s you this afternoon… I will be free again… Freedom…’ “What about mom and dad?” Micki let her head hanging and tears were falling off… She had pictures in her head of them…
“These people?
Spoiler:
I’m sorry I don’t have a drawing of mom… She kind of exploded on the way here.”
Her evil laugh tore down Micki’s heart. The chair she was tied down to got dragged by her sister. Is this really how I’m going to end? Am I just going to give up? The chair was put down on a table… just like the drawing she had shown her… A extra robe was from preventing her escaping. Micki didn’t do a thing to persist it from happening. She just let it happen… She came walking towards her… With a knife. It had a hallow hole through the lemmet. She was playing with the knife… Micki didn’t care… Why was she doing this? She never did anything to harm her sister… Micki closed her eyes…

right at the moment sister wanted to strike down Micki moved to the left. Sis never hit Micki, She hitted to robe. Micki quickly hitted her sister. “I won’t let you! I won’t let you kill ANYMORE INNOCENT PEOPLE!” She screamed to her sister. She was hitting her with all her might. Tears were falling down her face while she was hitting her. “This was never mend to happen!” The knife was lying down a meter away from them, Sister was look at it and saw her chances clean to grab it, stab her and let it pour down the sink. But Micki was too soon. She got the knife. Sister ran towards her. Not mend but the knife got in her sister. Micki was holding it and was frozen down to the ground. Fear clinged her heart. She stabbed her sister… she was stumbled down. A huge blood bath had formed underneath her. The house started to tremble and it collapsed on top of them.

Micki woke up… Her head was pounding… Blood were stained on her hands. How long was she unconsciousness? She fought of her sister… That was under a pile of rocks. You could see her hair… blond… She was the blond type… The house was no more… Micki stood up, and walked down the hill… she slipped and fell in the river. With no might left to fight the river she let it go. She let the water take her where ever it wanted to go… Down to a huge lake there she got to the land. Far away from the place it all happened. Many animals… It didn’t matter to her anymore… She had no feeling left after what happened… The only feeling she felt was agony… pain and sorrow…

Weeks went by and she got her character back little by little… She managed to survive. The city Solum also gave her a global look on the world again. She didn’t ever expected a plague outbreak… a World war three even… She meet a new friend. A tiger which she named Snow. Her sorrow days were over and they continued further. A path no one could change. Only themselves.
